SHIVJAYANTI CELEBRATION-2025

To commemorate the life, valor, and contributions of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj towards establishing a sovereign Maratha kingdom and his exemplary leadership qualities and also to serve as a reminder of his ideals of courage, justice, and equality, this year too, Shiv Jayanti was celebrated in our college on 19th February 2025. The event commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony, followed by the rendering of Shiv Garjana, paying tribute to the spirit of patriotism that Shivaji Maharaj embodied. Principal Dr.Pournima Naik delivered insightful speech on the life, valor, and strategic brilliance of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Students from F.Y GNM delivered speech on the birth anniversary of Shivaji maharaj. These lectures provided students with a deeper understanding of Shivaji’s contribution to Indian history and his enduring legacy. To add vibrancy to the event, cultural performances were organized showcasing various aspects of Maratha culture and heritage. Students presented traditional musical performances, and theatrical re-enactments depicting pivotal moments from Shivaji Maharaja’s life. Vote of thanks was proposed by Ms.Dyaneshwari Shinde. The programe was hosted by Ms.Tanvi Kadam and Ms.Avni Bodke.
