🏅 Sports Day Celebration – Annual Week Festivities

As part of the much-awaited Annual Week Celebrations, our Nursing College proudly hosted a vibrant and energetic Sports Day, bringing together students, faculty, and staff in the spirit of fitness, teamwork, and fun!

The event kicked off with an enthusiastic march past, followed by the lighting of the torch, symbolizing unity and sportsmanship. The day was filled with energy as students showcased their talents and competitive spirit through a wide range of indoor and outdoor games, promoting both individual and team excellence.

🏃‍♀️ Outdoor Events:

  • Track & Field Events: 100m, 200m races, relay races
  • Throwing Events: Javelin Throw, Discus Throw
  • Team Sports: Volleyball, Cricket, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Tug of War, Throwball

These events were held for both male and female participants, encouraging equal participation and enthusiasm across all categories.

🎯 Indoor Games:

  • Chess
  • Carrom
  • Housie (Tambola)
  • Memory Games

The entire college ground echoed with cheers and encouragement, creating a lively and competitive environment. Students gave their best in every event, and even faculty members actively participated in friendly matches, adding to the joy and excitement of the day.

🏆 Prize Distribution:

Winners were honored with medals and certificates, and the best house/team was awarded the Championship Trophy. The closing ceremony included a heartfelt vote of thanks and appreciation for the organizers, volunteers, and participants.

The Sports Day not only promoted physical fitness but also emphasized essential values such as teamwork, leadership, resilience, and unity — all of which are deeply rooted in the nursing profession.

Together we ran, we played, we laughed – and we celebrated the spirit of nursing beyond the classroom!
