World Cancer Day was celebrated on 4th February 2022 by Medical-Surgical Nursing department under the guidance of Mr.Vinayak Gunjal, Lecturer (MSN). The programme started with garlanding and enlightening of lamp by Mrs Kumari Nutan, HOD & In-charge Principal and other teaching Faculty at 4.00pm, after that opening of theme done by In-charge Principal Madam and she is given small speech on cancer day and three year campaign for impact.

Mr.Vinayak Gunjal, Lecturer (MSN dept) introduced the  theme of 2022: Realising the problem, how we can begin to imagine a better way of doing things and build a fairer vision of the future- a future where people lives and have better access to health and cancer services.

Mr.Abhijit Mahale Clinical Instructor, introduced theme of 2023: Uniting our voices and taking action, as our campaign continues, we will join with like-minded people because we know that we are stronger when we are united. Our action take countless forms ; motivating neighbours to  provide transport to cancer treatment for a fellow resident or ensuring that healthy, we will mobilise our friends, coworkers, family and communities because we know that together we can achieve almost anything.

Mr.Rohit Sarawade, Clinical Instructor, and talk on theme of 2024: Together, We challenge those in power, the last year of our campaign is all about bringing attention to a higher level –literally. We will raise our voices to engage our leaders. Now that we have knowledge and united community by our side, we are ready to shake the very foundations of injustice- to become lifelong advocates fully equipped to push for lasting change.  Lastly III year Basic .B.Sc Nursing student Mr.Joshuva T. given small speech on World cancer day.At the end of the program vote of thanks was given by Mrs.Neha Katare, Clinical Instructor.
