Brief about the Program:

International Yoga Day is observed globally, to highlight the importance of Yoga in the contemporary era, every year on June 21. It highlights the importance of finding balance and encourages physical, mental, and spiritual harmony. Yoga fosters mindfulness, stress reduction, and overall health and vitality. The theme for International Yoga Day in 2023 is “Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”, which represents our shared desire for “One Earth, One Family, One Future.” The idea behind that is all of humanity, irrespective of differences in nationality, race, religion, or culture, is interconnected and should live together as a global family. Yoga practitioners use this day to spread the message of yoga’s positive impact on individual and community health which offers numerous benefits for both physical and mental well-being. M.V.P. Samaj’s Institute of Nursing Education Adgaon, Nashik has celebrated the day at 7.30 am for which chief guest was Mr. Nilesh Nemade and Dr. Satish Waghmare, Asso. Professor Dept of Physiology to demonstrate the different yoga session. The importance of laughter therapy as a “Hasyyog” is also demonstrated by Dr. Sushama Dugad H.O.D. of TB Chest Department of Dr. VPMCHRC  Nashik.
