Organ Donation Awareness Program – 13th August 2024

On the occasion of World Organ Donation Day, MVP Samaj’s Institute of Nursing Education, Adgaon, Nashik, organized a comprehensive awareness program on 13th August 2024 in collaboration with Dr. Vasantrao Pawar Medical College Hospital & Research Centre (VPMCHRC). The event aimed to educate and inspire students about the life-saving impact of organ donation and to encourage them to become advocates for this noble cause.

The session was graced by eminent speakers Dr. Dinesh Bacchav and Dr. Rushikesh More, who addressed the audience with insightful and impactful talks. They shared real-life examples and emphasized the urgent need for organ donation, discussing how one donor can save multiple lives and significantly improve the quality of life for transplant recipients.

As part of the awareness activities, a poster competition was organized on the theme of organ donation. Students participated enthusiastically, using their creativity to convey powerful messages through visual art. The posters were displayed on campus, helping to spread awareness among peers and faculty alike.

The program not only informed but also inspired a sense of social responsibility among students. It successfully conveyed the message that organ donation is a selfless act of kindness that can give others a second chance at life.
