World Anemia Day Celebration……..

World Anemia Day Celebration – 13th February 2025

World Anemia Day was celebrated on 13th February 2025 at Dr. Vasantrao Pawar Medical College, Hospital & Research Center, Adgaon, Nashik, with active participation from postgraduate students. The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Pournima Naik, Principal, and Department of Child Health Nursing.

The program aimed to raise awareness about anemia, its causes, prevention, and management, particularly among vulnerable populations such as children and women. PG students conducted educational sessions, interactive discussions, and awareness drives within the hospital premises.

 

This initiative reflects the institution’s ongoing commitment to community health awareness and student-led outreach under expert mentorship.
