International Women’s Day – 8th March 2025

MVP Samaj’s Institute of Nursing Education, Adgaon, Nashik, celebrated International Women’s Day on 8th March 2025 to honor the achievements of women and promote gender equality. The global theme for the year, “For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.”, served as the foundation for the day’s events and activities.

The celebration was graced by Prof. Dr. Mrudula Bele from MVP’s Pharmacy College, who was invited as the Chief Guest. She delivered an inspiring address highlighting the progress of women in various sectors and the continued need for collective efforts to achieve true equality.

Dr. Pournima Naik, Principal of the Institute, also addressed the gathering, commending the contributions of women in shaping society and acknowledging the dedication of female students and staff in the field of nursing and healthcare.

To mark the occasion, students performed a theme-based dance and a mime act portraying the diverse and powerful roles women play in society—as mothers, professionals, caregivers, and leaders. The performances were emotional and empowering, reflecting resilience, strength, and unity.

The event concluded with messages of encouragement, equality, and empowerment, reinforcing the institute’s commitment to nurturing future healthcare professionals who advocate for gender rights and inclusivity.
