Title of Program: “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” Awareness Activities

Brief about the Program (Activity/Event):

As per the directive from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, and in alignment with the national campaign “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan”, M.V.P. Samaj’s Institute of Nursing Education, Adgaon, Nashik, actively participated in the awareness drive held from 12th  to 26th  June 2025.

Under the able guidance of Dr. Pournima Naik, Principal of the Institute of Nursing Education  and coordinated by Mr. Vinayak Gunjal (NSS Coordinator), Mr. Ganesh Chakor (Co-Coordinator), and Mr. Bhavesh Battise, Ms. Vaishnavi Kambari, Ms.Sanika Bagul, Mr. Sarathak Gadekar  various awareness initiatives were successfully carried out.

A rally was organized in Adgaon to raise public awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and addiction. A poster exhibition was conducted on campus, showcasing creative and informative posters made by students to support the message of a drug-free society. The participants of this campaign included enthusiastic students from the Fifth and Sixth semesters of the B.Sc. Nursing program, who showed commendable involvement and commitment to the cause.

These efforts were aimed at educating the public and motivating them to adopt a healthy, addiction-free lifestyle, in alignment with the mission of a “Drug-Free India.”
