Visit at Biomedical waste management Centre

Educational visit to biomedical waste management centre was organized by Adult Health Nursing Department on date 20/09/2024 under the guidance of Dr. Pournima Naik, Principal M.V.P. S’ Institute of Nursing Education Adgaon, Nashik & Mr. Vinayak Gunjal, HOD Adult Health Nursing Department. Visit started with the overview and introduction about the biomedical waste management unit given by the biomedical waste management incharge Mr. Ranmale Sir, they also explained the different aspects of biomedical waste management and functioning of the unit. They explained the protocols of waste disposal and standard segregation method.

Following that, Mr. Ranmale Sir explained whole process of biomedical waste management by explaining the techniques of waste segregation and its strategies. Also, introduced students with various equipments and safety gears used in segregation process.
