Visit to Pathology lab

Educational visit to pathology lab. of Dr. Vasantrao Pawar Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Nashik. was organized by Adult Health Nursing Department on date 11/11/2025 under the guidance of Dr. Pournima Naik, Principal M.V.P. S’ Institute of Nursing Education Adgaon, Nashik & Mr. Vinayak Gunjal, HOD. Adult Health Nursing Department. Visit started with the overview and introduction about the pathology lab given by Dr, Madhukar Gavit, Assistant Professor, pathology Department, they also explained the different aspects of pathology lab, its functioning. They explained the procedures performed in lab, also explained the protocols followed in the lab.

Following that, Dr. Preeti Bajaj, HOD, Pathology Dept. Dr. Vasantrao Pawar Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Nashik. explained whole functioning of Pathology lab and given visit to the museum of pathology department. Also, introduced students with various equipment and articles used during procedure and practical.
