World Diabetes Day

World diabetes day was celebrated in the institute every year on 14^th November. The theme of programme was, “Diabetes across life stages”.

The programme was organized by Adult Health Nursing Department on date 14/11/2025 under the guidance of Dr. Pournima Naik, Principal M.V.P. S’ Institute of Nursing Education Adgaon, Nashik & Mr. Vinayak Gunjal, HOD, Adult Health Nursing Department. On the occasion of world diabetes day students of ^3rd Semester B.Sc. Nursing conducted health teaching in the different wards of Dr. Vasantrao Pawar Medical College Hospital & Research Center, Nashik, to create awareness about diabetes, its causes and effect on life among the patients. Also, the students actively participated in the programme by making posters about the diabetes according to theme of programme. The students displayed posters in the college to create awareness among students.

At the end, Dr. Pournima Naik, Principal M.V.P. S’ Institute of Nursing Education Adgaon, Nashik, had brief talk with the participating students on diabetes, its prevention & cure.
