World Lung Cancer Day

World lung cancer day was celebrated in the institute every year on 1^st August. The theme of programme was, “STRONGER TOGETHER: UNITED FOR LUNG CANCER AWARENESS”.

The programme started with the felicitation; Principal Dr. Pournima Naik Felicitated the guest Dr. Sushma Dugad. The brief lecture on the topic Lung Cancer given by the guest lecturer Mrs. Sushma Dugad, HOD, Respiratory Medicine Dept. DR. VPMCH, Adgaon. 46 students of the 4^th Semester B.Sc Nursing attended the programme. Also, the department arranged a poster competition on the topic Lung Cancer, 9 student groups participated in the competition, among them, three student groups selected for the best  theme presentation and given them prizes (Mr. Narendra Thakre, Mr. Sarthak Chavan, Ms. Rajashree Umbarkar & group). Department of Adult Health Nursing arranged the programme under guidance of Principal Mrs. Pournima Naik and   Mr. Vinayak Gunjal, HOD, Adult Health Nursing. The programme was successfully coordinated by Department of Adult Health Nursing.
