Visit to Blood Bank

Educational visit to blood bank of Dr. Vasantrao Pawar Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Nashik. was organized by Adult Health Nursing Department on date 11/11/2025 under the guidance of Dr. Pournima Naik, Principal M.V.P. S’ Institute of Nursing Education Adgaon, Nashik & Mr. Vinayak Gunjal, HOD. Adult Health Nursing Department. Visit started with the overview and introduction about the blood bank given by Dr, Madhukar Gavit, Assistant Professor, pathology Department, they also explained the different aspects of blood bank, its functioning and importance in the patient treatments. They explained the procedures performed in blood bank and methods of blood collection and storage, also explained the protocols followed in the blood bank. Following that, five students of 4^th Semester B.Sc. Nursing voluntarily donated blood at blood bank.
