Worlds AIDS Day 2025

The Worlds AIDS Day 2025 was celebrated at M.V.P. Samaj”s Institute of Nursing Education, Adgaon  Nashik on 1^st December 2025. This year global theme,” Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response,” served as the focal point for all activities.

The program commenced with a Public Awareness Rally through the streets of Adgaon. GNM 2^nd year students participated enthusiastically, carrying banners and shouting slogans to educate the local community on HIV prevention and the importance of “knowing your status.” The rally aimed to break the silence surrounding the disease and encourage a more supportive environment for those affected.

Following the rally, a poster competition was organized in campus for the GNM students. The posters creatively illustrated key messages such as; the significance of the Red Ribbon as a symbol of solidarity, routes of HIV Transmission and prevention methods, the fight against the social stigma that hinders treatment.

The event was significant success in fostering a since of social responsibility among future healthcare professionals. By combining community outreach with academic creativity, the students were able to effectively communicate the urgency of ending the AIDS epidemic by 2030.
