Objective of Program:To bring the awareness regarding cancer and its preventive measures.
Date & Time of Program: 6th February 2023 at 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.
Venue: Auditorium.

Brief about the Program (Activity/Event):
World Cancer Day was celebrated on 6th Feb 2023 by Medical Surgical Department under the guidance of Mrs. KumariNutan(HOD MSN DEPT.)for raising awareness about cancer and to live a healthy life. As a part of celebration day started with Rally at 8:30 Am in Adgaon Village, followed by role play by Third Year GNM at Adgaon. The rally was conducted by both classes. After the rally the refreshment was given to students followed by Role play at Dr. VPMCHRC OPD areas. The role play appreciated by Hospital Dean Mrs. Pranjape Madam, MVP INE Principal Mrs. PournimaNaik and Vice Principal Mrs. KumariNutan Madam. The remaining program was done in college auditorium between 2 to 4pm. The afternoon program was host b6y Ms. Dimple Sonawane and Mr. RishavPani Student of 3rd Year Basic Bsc. Nursing started with introduction of program,Welcome address of Chief Guest and other dignitaries given by Ms.GauriGosavi followed by Lamp Lighting and theme opening felicitation program Chief Guest Dr. MohsinaHussain Surgical Oncology (Head and Neck Oncology) had given talk on cancer its incidence, preventive measures and how to handle or take care of patient underwent surgery. She also motivated and guided student about cancer and its significance.
At the end of the program the vote of thanks delivered by one of the co-anchor Mr. RishavPani from Third Year Basic Bsc. Nursing.
And the program end with National Anthem.
